Have you recently left school and looking to embark on a career in the nail, hair, or beauty industry?

If so, during your training not only will you learn how to perform your chosen treatments, but you should also learn about the importance of having insurance.

Unfortunately, no matter how careful you are, things can still go wrong when you are carrying out a treatment. You could spill a bottle of acetone on your client’s table, your client could slip and fall on massage oil that you have spilt, or you could accidentally cause a burn whilst waxing a client’s brow. 

An insurance policy can provide you with cover in these unfortunate situations.

Not only can these types of situations occur when you are a fully trained beautician, nail technician or hairdresser but they can also occur when you when you are practicing or carrying out case studies towards gaining your qualification.

That is why we offer a student insurance policy to protect you before you are fully qualified.

For as little as £20.00 for the year our policy covers your public, product and treatment liability for when your tutor has deemed you as competent to practice, or to cover you when you when completing case studies. All we ask is for you to inform your client that you are not yet fully qualified and charge a lower fee to what a fully qualified therapist would, to reflect this.
