Beauty Brands – Are you covered?

Gel Nails are here to stay, a chip free, longer lasting manicure that can be applied to both natural nails and extensions.  If you are a Nail Technician it’s highly likely that the majority of your clients will have some form of gel applied to their nails during a treatment with you.

Did you know that not all insurers insure you for all brands if you have trained with just one?  A customer of another beauty insurance provider called us today. She had trained with Gellux several years ago and uses Gellux, Gelish and CND to provide her customers with the widest choice of colours, finishes and effects on their nails.  She called at renewal to check her price and was horrified that she had been using three brands and was not covered to do so as her qualification was obtained with Gellux.

Professional Beauty Direct will cover you to use all EU approved brands if the application technique is the same as the brand you trained with, and you hold a certificate which was obtained via face to face learning. 

Needless to say, she cancelled her insurance renewal with the other provider and moved over to us for £39.50 as a self-employed nail technician.  Not only did she have the freedom to use all brands (as long as they are EU approved) she also saved herself some money on her premium!
